About the ENVIRO LITTER STRAINER

The Enviro Litter Strainer has been developed by WWES to stop the pollution of water that flows into storm water drains.  This pollution washes into our watercourses, bays and beaches, affecting not just our visual enjoyment, but also the physical wellbeing of animals and humans alike.

The Enviro Litter Strainer

-    consists of a removable basket the fits inside a base that is installed in the entrance of any storm water drain.

-    the base is surrounded by rubber which is tailored to fit the drain opening ensuring that all rubbish goes into the Enviro Litter Strainer

-    the Enviro Litter Strainer comes in two sizes to ensure that no drains are too big or too small for the Enviro Litter Strainer, and multiple strainer units are installed in the largest drains

-    the Enviro Litter Strainer is made of non-corrosive metal that ensures a long life

-    the Enviro Litter Strainer sits on a metal frame that has been bolted into the entrance of the drain to ensure that rubbish is captured as the water washes it into the drain

Who are the Purchasers of the Enviro Litter Strainer?

All purchasers of the Enviro Litter Strainer do because they have storm water drains on their premises or under their control; they are:

-    shire Councils

-    shopping centres

-    car parks

-    industrial estates

-    large factories with big open spaces for vehicles

-    fast food outlets

-    retail outlets with large open spaces for vehicles

-    even residential properties

Why do they want to install an Enviro Litter Strainer

The overriding reason is that they are concerned with the environment and as good citizens, are interest in practical solutions to protect our valuable resources.  Over recent years the cost of undoing the damage and cleaning up the resultant mess in our waterways has spiraled upwards.  We must do what we can to stop the problem at its source and mitigate the downstream problems.
